Was not expecting Yuuhi to take advantage of Hisame's kindness to grope her, lol...

Gonna be honest here: I've heard really good things about the manga this anime is based on, but this adaptation really isn't doing it for me. The pacing is wack, the visuals ugly, the delivery absolutely abysmal and not even an important death carried nearly the emotional weight or impact it should have had. I really tried with this one but I think I'll be dropping it here. Feels like a clear case of "You're better off reading the manga if you're interested in the story."

Oh looks like we had the same feelings about this, I'm also dropping this here, this episode really gave me good enough reason to do so lol.

He's a cultured guy after all. hehe~ But yeah didn't expect that. And they even laughed it off. I was expecting Hisame to chase him down and run him over with her moped again. Lol!~ And honestly speaking, I am finding this to be quite messy and dull here myself. Though, I'll probably still watch this (or possibly drop this too). We'll see. (Honestly speaking, I just skimmed through it. Lol. Maybe I'm that bored. XD)

I hear ya on that, truthfully, Maou sama and another anime were pretty big disappointments to me from what I was expecting, so I dropped them, I may return later and try watching them all at once to see if I can get into the zone with them, but with some of the winners we have around the same release times/days I'd rather watch those instead....too bad because I loved S1 of Maou-sama, I was so happy when I saw it started airing s2...oh well.

However, I think I'll stick this one out a little longer, mainly because I really enjoy the princess' VA (when is new Uzaki-Chan coming out btw, anyone know?) and I don't have any ongoing series releases I'm watching on Saturday mornings atm. (Taking recommendations on those if anyone feels they found a gem or two)

Besides, this is becoming so disjointed, I'm kinda interested to see where it goes....but if it gets too rough I may follow suit with you.

In other news, I have to admit I was THINKING about the boob squeeze happening but genuinely wasn't sure if they would go there and they did. XD

And the Cabbage eating scene, I was eating half a head of cabbage when I saw it, I feel it's an omen I should watch a bit longer. XD

P.S. I forgot Kuro no shukanshi is on Saturday morning too, I'm following that one and it's been pretty good so far.

Same here. Princess delivery was already pissing me off, but this whole episode was as rushed and the trainwreck that was made of my favorite manga when Houshin Engi came back

Totally agree that this is pretty meh and all the pacing and such is about as enjoyable has having a staring contest with a wall.

Agree. The pacing, the story, the introduction of new characters, even the flows of their conversation are a mess for me and doesn't fitted well, but since i watched to episode 6 already i guess i will stick with it until the end. Just gonna waste about 20 minutes of my time per week.

He more of a villain than Yuuhi and he wants to be a villain for the princess lol

This feels more like chasing his older brother but because they are "Perfect" and unbeatable he loses motivation to even try

Hangetsu doesn't even mentioned anything about his brother like what is their relationship like what happened why he wanna chase hangetsu so much

Although many are saying that this anime is bad, that they are dropping it etc. I find it all quite interesting.

Although the fate of the world is at stake, the chosen ones all appear to have some severe problems, trauma.

The princes will die no matter the result. - The result is pending
Yuuhi is still fighting the trauma his grandfather chained him with, and now additionally the guilt of Shinonome death. For now he has shown to fight his trauma, which is a very hard thing to do.
Shinonome had a trauma from loosing his dog, realizing he isn't worthy to be a hero, no matter his great strength. He died to prove himself wrong and worthy...
The younger brother has a serious case of inferiority complex towards his brother...

This story feels more like how it is about those people coming together with their own trauma, overcoming them, maybe, and working towards their goal. Even if they are on diverging paths.

Am looking forward to how it all is going to play out.

Its animation is not even bad. So far the anime with the worst animation this season is black summoner with its cgi fights. I will say they where better then that one berserk adaptation.

The janky fights in Last Summoner is not too bad and that was choregraphed nicely compared to others that was flat out worst.
The animation in this is just barely power pointed and is passible but the facial expression in this is not up to snuff and fight scenes is lazy animated. No impact with the tear jerker moments.

I think I am going to drop this here, I was already considering doing so last episode but Hangetsu's death was so shocking I gave it another try but this episode was just weird and a mess for me, suddenly the pace has been sped up with the introductions of all these new characters and Mikazuki's character just seems way too random and doesn't really flow well and with the way Yayoi blushed upon Yuuhi saving her I'm guessing she'll develop feelings, I just think I'm done lol.

This episode sped through things a little too fast, but I can assure you that the manga version of this part of the story is very good.

Eh, it's okay for an anime day with nothing much going on except Dragon Quest before bed time. Not great, and such strange relationships, but whatever.

The Chinese Zodiac is a symbolic amalgamation of creatures. I don't think it needs to exact. It only needs to make an entire whole being based on the symbolism of the parts it is made of. In other words, it is not a crow, rooster, dragon, or lizard, but a "crow" and a "dragon".

I do not know if the author is going this way, but that is how the Chinese Zodiac works. After all, a person is not a dragon, because they are a "dragon" irl in the system.
